Stardom has announced the acquisition by Bushiroad

Major news in the Japanese Wrestling Scene. Stardom, one of the largest all-female wrestling promotions in the world, has been purchased by the entertainment company Bushiroad.

The company is popular for its Vanguard trading card game and also being the owner of New Japan Pro-Wrestling. Very little detail has been released to the public but, there will be a press conference via YouTube later today at 13:00 GMT+8.

All we know is that Stardom and NJPW will operate as separate entities.
